Monday NCAA
First I will preface this by saying I had a horrible saturday...(1-2) with North Texas getting blown out by my sooners and Texas laying a massive egg at home against Ark State....historic trends did not repeat themselves on this specific occasion...But i'm not one to ignore my picks when i have a bad week. Two things we learn from this is 1) Oklahoma has the most talent under Bob Stoops since 2003...and Texas is very over-rated at least this early in the season as they were massively outplayed by Ark State...Thats the first time Texas has played that bad in recent memory in their non-conference schedule. Look out for TCU this sat.
Clemson +4 (at least at my book, some have them at 3.5) Since 2003 Clemson is 3-1 ATS and straight up against the noles.
Clemson U 45 (moving down as we speak) I see this game as a tough, hard fought game...on a side note, FSU has only scored 1 offensive TD against Clemson in 2006 and 2005 combined....! I do not see new offensive coordinator Fisher for FSU as a major improvement to this team....at least not in the bowden bowl in week one....maybe FSU will improve offensively as the season goes on but I think the smart money is with the U and Clemson....
