Yes, my NBA Finals has truly been a disaster - the worst of my three-decade long handicapping career!!!
and I know that I have killed some of my recent package players because of it. The first three rounds of these NBA playoffs were easy pickings. And then a dozen days ago, it all went down the crapper for me and my clients. And then some. And then some more. I know I have truly sucked these first five games of the NBA Finals.
The bookmakers have been making a killing on this series because my huge client base has been losing money - and lots of it - on the Lakers. By some estimates, my plays can help move upwards to $50 million on a big game and when I'm right, the books take a massive hit. But it goes both ways and the fact of the matter is that I have tanked these NBA Finals. With no thanks to Phil Jackson and friends. And it's been costing myself and my clients serious cash.
But without question, I didn't become the best handicapper in the business for three decades because I quit when the going got tough.
