As many of you know, Phil Steele has a penchant to love to hear himself talk on his comp. line and go on and on every day about the merits of a zillion different cappers.
Today I called both of his comp. lines and noticed both were even longer than usual.
For this reason I decided to call back and time the length of the call on one of the comp. line and see how long Phil's drone was.
Well, Phil mentioned a ton of cappers and went on and on as usual telling how good each is before he got to the comp. play.
Are you ready for this? 7 minutea dn 45 seconds until Phil got to the free play;that I am sure is a record of some sort.
The sad part is that about 99% of the people either tune out after a minute or two and simply wait for the freebie or simply hang up.
Didn't Phil ever learn in school that brevity is the soul of wit, and that by the time he is 1/4 of the way into his mantra, no one gives a shit about any of the cappers he talks about and what they have done of late or have going today?
