I agree 100% that ratings are a crock! Too many service bump up their ratings when they are losing and chase the units trying to get even. The won loss record is a measure of their worth. Keeping track of some of these service that have multiple clubs 5 or more different ratings and no consistency is a useless nightmare and far too much work.
Furthermore I would exclude comp Picks and opinions.
People who want those units are welcome to maintain their own records. I don't really have a problem with anybody who wants to do that extra work and post units. I for one, would ignore the rating and zero in on the Won Loss percentage.
