4* NBA Playoff Angle Play
#517 DETROIT (+2) over Chicago by 10 at 8:05 PM EST
The Baby Bulls have actually made it a series. After being down 3-0, Chicago has stormed back to force a game six. Respect is certainly given to Bulls head coach Scott Skiles and the job he has done getting his troops not to quit. However, Da Bulls are going to get the Pistons best tonight and their youth will finally show.
There are a bundle of technical sets that favor Detroit so let's get right to them. First, game six road dogs in any playoff series are a respectable 12-2 ATS provided they own a won/loss percentage of .717 or less and lost straight up as a favorite in game five. Second, post season division guests coming off a straight up playoff home loss of 15 points or more are a solid 11-4 ATS provided they are matched up against a division foe. Those two solid post season sets both side with the Pistons
There are three sweet team angles that apply to Detroit too. Off back-to-back straight up losses, the Pistons are a tremendous 26-6 SU and 21-11 ATS in their last 32 games. Also, in their last 22 at the United Center, Detroit owns a superb 18-4 ATS mark including a perfect 8-0 ATS in this set provided the Bulls enter off a straight up underdog win. Finally, off back-to-back straight up wins, Chicago has recorded a dismal 11-19 ATS mark
Since 1994, Detroit has notched a spotless 5-0 SU and ATS record coming off back-to-back straight up playoff losses. The Pistons choked in their last two attempts to close. They won't tonight. Take Detroit plus the points. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.

Scott Spreitzer's 15* MLB Thursday Blowout! -- 20-5, 80% Run!
I'm laying the price with the D'Rays on Thursday in Orlando. It's not cheap on the surface, but we have yet another chance to go against Kameron Loe. When you consider his struggles, the price is actually too low. Loe's been a punching bad so far in 2007 going 1-3 with a 5.89 ERA and a .284 batting average against. Allowing too many hits has also been his problem in his appearances against Tampa Bay. In seven outings, (two starts), Loe has allowed 21 hits to the D'Rays, along with 9 earned runs in just 15 2/3 IP. That's a weak 5.17 ERA with a Tampa Bay team batting average against the righty of .318! Making matters worse, Loe has made three road appearances this season where his ERA climbs to a ridiculous, 7.71 with a 1.61 WHIP. Scott Kazmir, Tampa's true ace, goes tonight. The D'Rays have won four of his last six starts and he absolutely dominates the Rangers. The southpaw owns a 2.00 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and .224 BAA in his career against Texas. Kazmir is also an inning-eater, lasting six innings or more in six of eight starts. We'll look for Tampa to dominate Loe again and for Kazmir to shut down the Rangers again. Tampa Bay is my Thursday night 15* release. Thanks! GL! Scott.
