Indiana Pacers at Phoenix Suns
Wednesday, January 9th, 9:05 PM ET

Indiana scores 103.5 on the road and allows 105.3 which is a lot for an Eastern Conference team. It has alternated unders and overs its last seven contests with this being an "over" contest. It has also played seven overs its last 10 trips to Phoenix and is 32-18 OVER versus poor defensive teams - allowing 99+ points/game over the last 2 seasons. Phoenix meanwhile has gone over in five of its last eight, scoring 137 in its last against Denver.

**PREFERRED
*Milwaukee over Miami by 10
We’ll continue to look to fade the Heat, playing their third road game in four days and
fourth in six days. The Heat are banged-up. Shaquille O’Neal has started to miss time
because of a thigh injury. Point guard Jason Williams has a bad knee, which makes him
day-to-day. Second-string point guard Chris Quinn has been out leaving the Heat thin
at this crucial spot and vulnerable to underrated Mo Williams. O’Neal and William
are two of the worst defenders at their respective positions. They’re even more immobile
when saddled by injuries. MILWAUKEE 108-98.

**PREFERRED
Detroit over *Dallas by 6
The Pistons are one Eastern club that traditionally has been able to hold their own
against the elite Western clubs. The Pistons came into the final days of December playing
the best defense in the NBA holding seven of their last eight foes to fewer than 81
points. Not one of these opponents could manage even 90 points on Detroit. The
Pistons’ bench is playing better this season, which has been a help. The Mavericks have
yet to reach last season’s consistency. DETROIT 96-90

NBA:

5 Unit Black Magic NBA Blowout of the Week on Phoenix Suns -11

Phoenix will take advantage of Indiana?s inability to defend. We cashed in Utah last night over the Pacers and as the Jazz won by 22 points. Now we will continue to bet against Indiana tonight as we crush the books courtesy of the Phoenix Suns. Indiana has lost 7 out of their last 8 games now. They have failed to cover the spread in each loss as well. This may be the ugliest defeat the Pacers suffer all season tonight. Indiana is 3-19 ATS versus good passing teams, averaging more than 23 assists/game over the last 2 seasons. They don?t defend the pick and roll well at all. Steve Nash and company will put on a show tonight. Cash in with Phoenix as the favorite.

3 Unit Sharp Play on Dallas Mavericks -2.5

The Mavericks will kick the Pistons while they are down on TNT tonight. Detroit finally lost a game to the Boston Celtics in their last game out. It will suffer rare back-to-back losses when the Mavs get done with Detroit Wednesday. We will play against all teams where the line is +3 to -3, a hot team with at least 20 wins in their last 25 games. This System is 36-14 over the last 5 seasons with a 72% winning ratio. Oddsmakers tend to give these hot teams too much respect. Detroit should be a much bigger underdog tonight. Cash in with Dallas as the favorite.

NCAA Basketball:

3 Unit Sharp Play on Troy State -1

Troy at 8-6 on the season will roll right over Florida International at 4-9 on the year. Troy has won 7 out of their last 9 games overall and they are not about to let Florida International spoil their party tonight. Florida International is 1-6 in their last 7 games overall. Troy beat Florida International on the road 56-51 last season. A repeat performance will come true Wednesday. Troy State is 10-2 ATS after scoring 45 points or more in the first half last game. Florida International is 4-13 ATS when playing only their 2nd game in 8 days over the last 3 seasons. Cash in with Troy State as the favorite.

3 Unit Sharp Play on George Mason -5

George Mason is 10-4 on the year. 5 Starters have returned for their ?07-08 campaign and their experience is paying off in the early season. George Mason is 10-1 ATS in road games after 2 straight games giving up 9 or less offensive rebounds over the last 3 seasons. George Mason has played a tough schedule to this point with games against Villanova, South Carolina, Kansas State and Kent State. This experience against better teams will have George Mason winning by double-digits against a lesser Delaware squad tonight. Cash in with George Mason as the favorite.

The Pacers’ Amazing Three-Point Dichotomy! The Indiana Pacers have the most amazing brace of trends we’ve seen in our 25-year history of handicapping the NBA. The pair of trends involve a team taking at least 20 three-point shots and making less than 25% of them. The first trend is that the Pacers are a “perfect” 0-22 ATS (-11.9 ppg) since November 23, 2000 as a favorite with at least one day of rest after a game in which their opponent shot at least ten three-pointers and made at least half of them. This team trend was 0-6 last season and in their only active date so far this season, the Pacers lost 90-72 as a six point home favorite to the Grizzlies. The SDQL text for this trend is: t:team=Pacers and playoffs=0 and line<0 and 0<rest and p:season=season and 10<=po:three pointers attempted and 50<=po:three pointer percentage and po:season=season and 20001123<=date The second trend is that the Pacers are a perfect 19-0 ATS (10.3 ppg) since December 29, 2003 after a game in which THEY shot at least twenty three-pointers and made less than a 25% of them. This season, the Pacers are 3-0 ATS in this situation, covering the spread by an average of a whopping 15.2 ppg. It seems as if the Pacers recover well after a poor night from the arc. The SDQL text for this trend is: t:team=Pacers and playoffs=0 and 20<=p:three pointers attempted and p:three pointer percentage<25 and p:season=season and 20031229<=date Combined, this dichotomy is a staggering 41-0 ATS. In their last game, the Pacers were 5-of-24 from the arc vs the Jazz. This qualifies them for the second of this amazing dichotomy and makes them a PLAY-ON team tonight vs the Suns.

Game: George Mason at Delaware Jan 9 2008 7:00PM
Prediction: George Mason
Reason: The George Mason Patriots were 2 minutes away from a CAA championship last season , and this year despite of not being loaded , are still talented in deep at every position. They have shown some inconsistencies , but that was in non conference play, and you have remember that HC Larranaga is a systems coach and is consistently fine tuning it during the early part of the campaign, and letting it hang out during the most important part of the programs schedule. Tonight the Patriots using their motion offense and their scramble defense, will be ready to perform in big way against a Delaware team that had little offense last year, and is still a work in progress under second year coach Monty Ross. Final notes & Key Trends:George Mason is 10-1 ATS in road games after 2 straight games giving up 9 or less offensive rebounds, winning SU by just under 10 PPG. Play on George Mason

Game: Mississippi at Tennessee Jan 9 2008 8:00PM
Prediction: Tennessee
Reason: The mighty Tennessee Volunteers come out her with revenge on their minds for a loss to same Ole Miss program last season on the road , in 83 -69 beat down. The Rebels are playing well, and have won and unlucky 13 straight games, but it all comes to an abrupt end tonight against a team that is looking forward to playing them. Final notes & Key Trends: Tennessee is 4-0 ATS L/4 at home in this series. Tennessee is 15-4 ATS L/19 at home against good shooting teams that convert on 45% of their FGs, winning those tilt SU by an average of 12.8 PPG. Play on Tennessee

Game: Denver at New Orleans Jan 9 2008 8:00PM
Prediction: New Orleans
Reason: The talented New Orleans Privateers and their Doogie Howser look alike 30 year old coach Joe Pasternack prepare to take down a Sunbelt rival ,Denver program this evening that is in a rebuilding season , and off a year where they lost 25 games including 17 by double digits. Im expecting the Pioneers to be on the wrong side of another double digit beat down in this spot tonight. Final notes & Key Trends: Denver has averaged just 48.9 PPG on offense in road games this season. Denver 9-21 ATS L/30 on the road. New Orleans has won straight at home in this series. Play on New Orleans

20 Dime

PITT

Take Pitt as the small road chalk tonight over South Florida.

Much has been made of the Panthers injuries this year, losing starting forward Mike Cook and starting point guard Levance Fields. Although those two played a big part in Pitt?s success, the Panthers have a deep bench that can compensate for those losses.

Take their last game against Villanova, where Pitt hadn?t won in years and found themselves as a 5 ?-point dog. Despite 22 turnovers, Pitt had the ball on the last possession with a chance to win.

They ended up losing by one, but the fact they had a chance to win it on their last possession, despite the sloppy play, showed me that this team can and still will play great defense which will allow them to stay in every game.

South Florida doesn?t have an answer for this athletic Pitt team, despite its injuries. Freshman Dajuan Blair has been one of the best newcomers to the conference and routinely puts up double-doubles. Coach Jamie Dixon?s decision to open up the Pitt offense has allowed the athletic Sam Young to blossom this year. Freshman Gilbert Brown took over Cook?s spot in the lineup and brings some mad hops to the floor.

There?s no way Pitt is going to open the season with consecutive conference losses. They are an athletic team that wants to run on offense, yet maintains the discipline to play great defense.

Lay the points with Pitt as they grab a six-point road win and cover.

10 Dime

DUKE

Lay the points with Duke tonight when they travel to take on Temple.

Duke is trying to regroup before their ACC season starts, but coach Mike Krzyzewski was not happy with his team?s latest effort. The Blue Devils beat Cornell 81-67 on Sunday, but Coach K was not happy with several miscues in the win.

He felt his team wasn?t aggressive enough on loose balls, and wasn?t discussing its mistakes.

When trying to correct its mistakes back at practice on Monday, starting center Brian Zoubek broke his left foot. His injury is a big blow, but Duke remains one of the deeper teams in the country. They have four players with double-digit scoring averages.

Temple, on the other hand, is pretty much a one man show with Dionte Christmas, who is tied for the Atlantic 10 scoring lead with 20.9 points per game.

Duke will be able to limit his shots, forcing his teammates to pick up the scoring slack.

When they?re not, Duke will turn their transition game into quality scoring chances and slowly pull away.

The Blue Devils have won seven straight against Temple, including last January?s 73-55 win.

Take Duke minus the points as they grab the road win and cover.

5 Dime
BUCKS

Take the Bucks as the home chalk tonight over the Heat.

Miami is playing its third road game in four days and fourth in six days. They are banged up and Shaquille O?Neal is doubtful for tonight?s game with a thigh injury. Jason Williams is also among the walking wounded with a bad knee.

O?Neal and Williams are two of the league?s worst defenders at their respective positions. The Heat are even more immobile when saddled by injuries.

Take the Bucks as the home chalk as they grab the home win and cover tonight.

triple-dime bet517 IND 11.0 (-110) Bodog vs 518 PHO
Analysis:
The Indiana Pacers are coming off a blowout loss against the Utah Jazz last night and the public certainly has this in their mind, as the Suns are getting bet on at over a 70% clip.

Little do they know - the Pacers excel with no rest and find and travel to face a home favorite that has struggled in covering double-digit spreads at home.

The Pacers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games with zero days off - failing to cover in this situation against the Detroit Pistons by just half a point. They won the previous five games in this situation - covering by an AMAZING 10.4 points.

Indiana bounces back tonight and gets us the cash

5.5-Unit Play. Take #527 George Mason (-5.5) over Delaware (7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8)
Note: This is our Game of the Week.

The Blue Hens have gotten off to a nice start in conference play, going 3-0, but they’ve done so by beating some of the weaker teams in the conference. I love Mason’s experience in a spot like this as well as the fact that they’ve won five straight in this series and seven of eight. The core players from last year’s teams are back, and the Patriots won both meetings by an average of 25 points. Five of Mason’s last seven wins over Delaware have been by double digits with the average at 14.9 points. Delaware is 301st in the nation in shooting and I just don’t think they can score enough to keep this one close. I know the Hens are an improved team and we've cashed several times with them recently. But the Patriots are primed for a big game and will be focused and ready to take this one.

3-Unit Play. Take #583 Davidson (-12) over Elon (9 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9)
You know I’m always hesitant to lay the big number but I’m working on it! Davidson beat Elon by 30 on the road and by 25 at home last year. In fact, the Wildcats have won nine straight against the Phoenix by an average of 14.3 points and, discounting the last two maimings, the previous seven by an average of 11 points. Elon has played five games against teams in the Top 160 and are 0-6 with their losses coming by an average of 15 points and only one of those games was decided by less than 11 points. Elon lost by 14 at home to Tusculum this year. I think the Wildcats can take them.

3-Unit Play. Take #557 Syracuse (-3) over Cincinnati (8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9)
2-Unit Play. Take #557 Syracuse (-155) over Cincinnati (8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9)
You know who Syracuse is this year: they are Texas from last year. The Orange score, score and score some more. They won at Virginia this year so I don’t think they’re going to be intimidated by a half-empty arena in Cincy. The Bearcats are 3-8-1 ATS at home and 8-22-4 ATS in Big East play recently. Syracuse is 11-4-1 ATS as a road favorite and 14-2 ATS after three or more consecutive home games.

2.5-Unit Play. Take #563 Mississippi State (-2.5) over LSU (8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9)
First off, LSU stinks. I mean, they are really bad. Second, they are down to just seven scholarship players tonight against one of the better teams in the SEC. The Bulldogs tested themselves in the nonconference and are going to be ready to open conference play with a big win. MSU’s center Charles Rhodes is likely out for MSU, but they still have more talent and experience on the perimeter. The Bulldogs won both matchups last year against better LSU teams, and the Tigers are just 18-38-1 ATS over the past three years.

2.5-Unit Play. Take #545 Charlotte (+15) over Clemson (7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9)
You have to wonder if there will be any hangover from the Tigers’ home loss to North Carolina on Sunday night. I think it’s difficult to ask them to get back up and blow out the 49ers by 18 or 20 points. Clemson’s six wins over teams ranked No. 200 or better have come by an average of 10 points and Charlotte’s five losses have all come on the road but have come by an average of just five points. The 49ers have been an awful, awful shooting team over their last five games but I think they’re do for a 40-plus percent showing and that should help them work within this large cushion.

2-Unit Play. Take #567 Marshall (-4) over Rice (8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9)
Rice still stinks. They don't have a home court advantage because they are playing off site and they are facing a sneaky-good Thundering Herd team that is off two solid victories. No letdown here.

CHECK BACK LATER TODAY - AROUND 5 P.M. EST - BECAUSE I MAY ADD A PLAY IN THE ARIZONA-ARIZONA STATE GAME. DON'T WORRY, IT'S NOT GOING TO BE ANYTHING HUGE AND IT LIKELY WON'T COUNT TOWARDS OUR RECORD. BUT IF JERRYD BAYLESS IS OUT AND THE LINE IS UNDER 6.0 THEN WE'RE GOING TO HAMMER THE SUN DEVILS. Good luck.

Is this the original system or the stolen one? The stolen one has the following, Two deluxe 3rd picks, Sea +7.5 and Ind +11, A new Prem pick Orl -3.5 and a second Prem pick Hous-3.5 from the Prem pick on Jan 4th when they started with Bos. and lost. They tout only 7 losses on the deluxe and zero losses on the Prem. but remember their loss record is predicated on their system of three possible selections ie: Prem l, Prem 2, and Prem 3. This is a series and they say in the Prem picks a series has never lost. Also this system requires that you buy 3 points and can double your wager including the juice if the system progresses to each pick.:)

The Prem picks have never lost as a series. Does this mean that the 3 games ( Prem 1, 2, & 3 ) have always gone at least 2 - 1

The Rockets are playing their best ball of the season right now ? even without Tracy McGrady and have won three straight for the first time this season. They have won five of their last seven and one of the losses was to the Celtics in Boston and they actually had a lead late in that game before the better team took control. But tonight they face a team that is nowhere near as good as the Celtics. The Knicks got a win last night over the putrid Bulls but that was their only taste of victory in eight games. They allow 102 points per game on defense, as opposed to the Rockets who are No. 5 in the NBA, allowing 94 points per game. That will be the major difference tonight. Both teams come in on a back-to-back so that factor does not hinder the Rockets in this situation. These two played Saturday and only very bad shooting from 3-point land made this game seem respectable. The Rockets won by 12 and we think this could be another double-digit affair as Houston has won eight of nine in this series and they have won four straight in NYC.

We absolutely love the Hornets in this situation. Everything seems in tune for the cover: The Hornets are one of the least respected probable playoff teams in the West against the biggest public team in the NBA coming in at their highest point of hyperbole of the season. The Lakers are coming on a back-to-back and will have played three games in four nights while the Hornets are well rested after having three nights off. The public is on the Lakers heavy but the line has moved the opposite way, meaning that there has been some big bets by the guys that make a living off betting on sports. New Orleans is blazing hot against the spread, having cashed eight tickets in their last nine games played. Also, New Orleans has a much better defense and therefore may be the better overall team. They allow 93 points per game this season, compared to 101 to the Lakers. And the beauty of this New Orleans team is that they can also explode on offense when needed.

New Orleans is rock solid on defense, and we are getting a number that is too high here because their last two games were very high scoring. But they have had three nights of rest and this is a big game for them so we expect an ?A? effort on defense from the Hornets tonight. The Lakers will have played three games in four nights and fatigue really affects some of those jumpers from falling when your legs are tired. This series has a long history of overs but the number has been adjusted too high and we feel like this is the night where the trends reverse themselves.

The Prem picks have never lost as a series. Does this mean that the 3 games ( Prem 1, 2, & 3 ) have always gone at least 2 - 1

The prem and the deluxe for that matter can go to the third pick, ie: they had a deluxe pick a few days ago, two actually, Sea and Ind, they tanked, they came back and said take them again, they tanked, now they are at there third and final part of the so called series, of which they claim that they have only lost seven series. The Prem pick is the same example, right now their Prem 2 pick is Hous -5 (buy down to -2). They have two major disclosures, one: After the lst pick in either system(Prem or Deluxe) they can pick other teams for the second and third pick, they do not have to stay with the lst pick team if it tanks. Second you have to be able to double your wager as the system progresses which can get expensive. I think it will be interesting tonight with 2 third game choices going and a Prem 2 with Hous. They also have a Prem lst with Orl -3.5(buy down to -.5), this is interesting because yesterday they had a Prem l pick with Orl -4, it tanked. Yet Today they call there Prem l pick of Orl just that, another lst pick, which gets back to the above disclosure regarding picks at the second and third level does nothave to be the same team.

Handicapper: Nite Owl Sports

Game: UNC at Charlotte 49ers @ Clemson Tigers - Wednesday January 9, 2008 7:30 pm
Pick: 3 units (Play of the Day) ATS: UNC at Charlotte 49ers +16 (-107)

Our pick on Charlotte here is more a pick against Clemson than a vote of confidence on Charlotte, but we have two very strong factors working in charlottes (and our) favor tonite. First and most important is the fact that Clemson is coming off of a heart-breaking, gut-wrenching OT loss to top ranked North Carolina, in which they lead for the entire second half before being caught by the Heels at the end of regulation, due primarily to poor FT shooting on Clemsons part (more about that later), were unable to score on their final possession in regulation, and then still looked to be headed for a win in OT until Carolina ripped the hearts out of the Clemson team, coaches and fans with a 3 point dagger at the buzzer. How can a team recover from that kind of devastating loss? Well, most teams do, eventually, but very few recover right away, and we have won a lot of bets riding this post-heartbreak system of going against a team which has just suffered a devastating loss until they play a good game in either winning outright or losing while covering the spread, with the biggest bet against them in their first game after the heartbreak (i.e., this one for Clemson). The other factor in our favor here is Clemsons ineptitude from the FT line, which is not only a weak 64.5% overall but more significantly is a putrid 58.5% at home. Their poor FT shooting did them in against Carolina, as they were a pathetic 14-27 (52%) from the charity stripe, as compared to Carolinas robust 24-30 for 80%. And in some other home games, its even been worse, like their 10-26 (38%) free throw brickfest (Hell, even Shaq shoots FTs better than that) as a ten point home fave in their 3 point non-covering win against Purdue, a game in which they should have covered (and would have, with just 8 more FTs made, which would have resulted from a normal 69% FT shooting %). Clemson has played two home games TY vs the B level of competition presented by Charlotte, and split them ATS, with the aforementioned non-covering win over Purdue and an 11 point win/cover over in-state rival South Carolina, in which Tigers shockingly shot 82.5% (19-23) from the FT line (definitely an aberration for them). So we have a pretty good case against Clemson covering this big number, but what about Charlotte? They have a veteran coach in Bobby Lutz and a good shooter and scorer in Goldwire, and a good new point guard in recently eligible Pepperdine transfer Gerrity, but they also have some newcomers and have been inconsistent so far TY. For example, they have had good home upset wins over Wake forest, So Illinois, and a Davidson team that gave both Carolina and Duke all they could handle in November, but then on the road lost by 12 to an average Tulsa team and were upset by Hofstra. However, there is a lot of room in this line, and this game against an ACC power is much more important to Charlotte than it is to heartbroken Clemson still licking their emotional wounds, so we say that Charlotte will at least cover this generous spread.

It's their second pick for this series, they could lose and be faced to come thru with the 3rd Prem pick, they also have a second Prem pick series with Hous tonight starting at -5 buy down to two, the line right now is -5 1/2. I was being a bit sarcastic in regards to doing a teaser, but now that I think about it, if the two prem hit then the teas hits, just not as much money, but iit is a teas. and there system is based on singular wagers. Analysis: #544 / 2** DUQUESNE DUKES minus the points vs Fordham / 7:00pm ET

#580 / 2** ARIZONA STATE SUN DEVILS minus (OR plus) the points vs Arizona / 9:30pm ET

Not only do we have the EXTRA incentive of DOUBLE-Revenge tonight, but we also have a couple of HOT teams who can indeed cover the numbers based on their current outstanding seasons. The Dukes of Duquesne are already 10-3 SU on the year (and 6-1 at home).... and have won 4 games in a row. The Sun Devils of Arizona State are no longer doormats of the PAC 10 Conference as they are 12-2 SU on the year and 10-0 SU at home.

Now comes the PERFECT Situations:
So far in the 2007/2008 season. College teams playing with DOUBLE-Revenge from last season are a very profitable 33-15 ATS (69%). If our "Revenger" is playing off a SU win (BOTH teams), the results improve to 18-3 ATS (86%) on the year. And if our "Revenger" is playing in the cozy and confident confines of their HOME arena (BOTH teams), the results are a PERFECT 9-0 ATS so far this season.

With the 'home cookin' confidence.... both teams off MULTIPLE wins in a row.... and the extra incentive of DOUBLE-Revenge, we'll gladly lay the points tonight with the DUKES and the SUN DEVILS

I don't mean to be a ball-breaker. If you double your wager on the next pick of each series, when the first 2 have lost ( i.e. Indiana ) by the third pick you're risking 4 units. Using $100 as a unit: You've already lost $420. $140 on the first and $280 on the second. Yes, you win 1 unit but you lose $20. If game 3 loses you are down $980 !! At $170 to buy 3 pts that's $1190 !!!!!!!!

100♦ OHIO STATE

100♦ CAVALIERS

Cleveland comes in riding a four-game win streak after last night?s 16-point home rout of the Sonics, and brings its game into the A-T-L, where the Hawks are sporting a four-game slide. The Hawks have been dormant since the 5th, when the Nets came into Atlanta and won by six points, which followed a three-game road trip ? including a four-point loss at Cleveland. The Cavaliers have won four straight and six of seven in this series, while they?ve covered three of the last four meetings. More importantly, Cleveland is 3-0 SU and ATS the last three times it?s come to Atlanta. Tonight, with the points, this should be an easy win!

100♦ SUNS

For a team being accused of being inconsistent with ?chemistry and finding its groove,? I have been extremely impressed with how well the Suns have won five of their last six ? averaging 112 points per game, and winning by an average margin of 14.2 points per game. The Pacers pushed this team back in December, losing 121-117 in Indianapolis, but it was still the fifth straight loss in the series for Indy. And with Amare Stoudamire appearing to perform like the player he was prior to his major knee injury, and has this team rejuvenated on offense. Indiana has lost six straight road games, including the opening to a season-high five-game road trip ? a 112-96 rout at the hands of the Lakers on Sunday. Lay the chalk with Phoenix here, as we roll.

TENNESSEE - We’re going to see Ole Miss exposed in this one, as Tennessee is always a tough place to play. And I know the Vols haven’t been on the floor since Dec. 29, when they closed out non-conference play with an 82-72 rout of Gonzaga, but because of that huge win over the Zags, UT will be ready to jump right into conference play and aim for its eighth-straight victory. The home team is 7-1 SU in the last eight times these two have met – during the regular season – while it’s covered six of its last eight at the window. And Tennessee will be in full revenge after Ole Miss rolled to an 83-69 rout as a three-point home chalk last season.

SOUTH CAROLINA - I know this Vandy team is off to its best start in school history, but it’s been because of an offense that can outlast the opposition – certainly not because of the skeptical defense that allows 75 points per game. South Carolina has a good shot at keeping this one close, as it’s been outstanding as an underdog this season, and has exceptionally strong extended road ATS numbers. When I say extended, I mean Dave Odom has his Gamecocks prepared for road trips, covering 22 of their last 26 o the highway and 20 of the last 27 they’ve been installed as road dogs. Vandy is 0-4 ATS in its last four games that immediately follow an ATS win, and in coming in off the win and cover versus U Mass, I’ll take the points with USC.

PISTONS - Something about losing to the Celtics that fire teams up this season (see the Lakers), and coming in off that home loss to Boston, look for Detroit to take it to the Mavericks tonight in Dallas. Despite the setback on Sunday, the loss snapped Detroit’s 11-game SU and ATS win streak, and Flip Saunders’ bunch has still won 18 of its last 21 games, while sporting an amazing 18-2-1 ATS during this stretch. Even better, the Pistons have been cash value with a suitcase in hand since early December, going 9-0 SU and 8-0-1 ATS. Detroit is 13-5 SU and 12-5-1 ATS on the highway this season, and should be able to tighten the bolts on Dallas tonight.

MAGIC - The Magic laid an egg last night in Sacramento, but should come back strong on the second of back-to-back nights, getting the line value against a terrible Clippers team that is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games installed as a home pup of 4-1/2 points or less. Why this line is so low is beyond me, as the Magic are a much better team on the road, and though that theory nipped us last night, keep in mind Orlando hasn't suffered consecutive road losses all year; and before last night it hadn't suffered consecutive ATS road losses since mid-March, a span of 29 regular-season games.

dime bet576 Tennessee -10.0 (-110) Bodog vs 575 Mississippi

Analysis:
OLE MISS (13-0) at TENNESSEE (12-1)

After extremely successful non-conference slates, both Tennessee and Ole Miss must be looking forward to tonights SEC opener. Tennessee is in my opinion the class of the conference this season, as Florida is reloading and Kentucky has fallen way off in the past 2 years. Mississippi enters undefeated (13-0), but they will soon be exposed as a fraud in SEC play because they have played only 1 road game in those 13 games, most against cupcakes. They do have 1 very nice win as they beat #19 ranked Clemson in Puerto Rico. Besides that 1 win, you can not convince me they are ready to play good teams away from home. Their only true road game was played at Central Florida, which is hardly what you would consider a tough venue to play in. Tennessee has one of the loudest, toughest to play on home courts in the entire country, and I think Mississippi is in for a rude awakening tonight. Since hiring coach Bruce Pearl has brought Tennessee to respectability and lofty expectations. A 46-19 record and 2 NCAA bids his 1st two seasons as head coach are just the tip of the iceberg for this very talented coach. They lost a heart-breaker in the sweet 16 last year to Ohio St and a final 4 appearance this year is well within their reach. He has them off to a 12-1 start and they are ranked #9 in the country. Their only loss coming to a Texas team that played their best game of the season against them. The Rebels of Ole Miss have a horrible history playing at Tennessee losing every game SU & ATS since 1995. The home team is also 10-3 ATS in this series. Dont be scared by the high point spread, it will only induce more of the public to back undefeated Mississippi. Look for the Volunteers to get ahead early and pull away for an easy win.

CHARLOTTE (8-5) at CLEMSON (12-2)

I had circled the North Carolina at Clemson game on the calendar about a week before it was played. I saw it as a very real opportunity for the Tar Heels to receive their first loss. Clemson put forth a monumental effort in that game and fell just short in overtime, losing on a last second 3-pointer. That loss will take a lot out of Clemson coming into this game as they were looking forward to it as a measuring stick as to how good they are. They measured up quite well thank you, but they will almost certainly have a let-down in this non-conference game just 3 days later. With nothing but ACC conference games remaining on their schedule, Clemson would be excused if they use this game as a breather before the grind of the ACC slate gets in full swing. Charlotte meanwhile should be worthy of a strong effort as they have already played 3 other ACC teams this season and fared quite nicely. They won just 1 of those 3 games, beating Wake Forest, but the 2 losses were by just 4 and 5 points respectively. This is the 4th time that Clemson is double digit favorites at home and they have covered just 1 of the previous 3. This is Charlottes first time as a DD dog this year and they have covered 3 of 4 as dogs of at least 3 points already this year. With so little to play for, dont be surprised if Clemson sleepwalks their way to a 4 or 5 point win tonight.

i will email you but wait until i get the email forwarded to me. nothing has been released yet regarding the nba system.

for you guys following this system you will have a nervous wed night. the 3rd game of a chase series along with a 2nd chase game is a lot of money to wager to win 1 unit. indy has lost 2 games ats and the last game is tonight. orlando lost ats last night so the 2nd game is tonight. nothing has been emailed yet but both games will fall under it.

this system has not lost this year so if you have faith in it then you probably are not worried.

NERVOUS??? I made my units 1500 risk for each series. Example game one is $1500 to win 898 and $3000 to win 1796 and $4500 to win $2694for the 3rd game of the series. I have faith however considering that Indiana has lost the last two games by avg of 23 points and play Phoenix tonight is a little scary!!

Note: This game was posted at 1:45 EST and is based off a line released by BetCris/Bookmaker. Don't worry, we won't count it toward your record if this was the difference between a winning and losing night/week. I'm all over this game so I just want to give my clients the ability to get on it as well. Play up to -3.0 and then start dropping units between that and -5.5.

Arizona State actually - and finally - enters this game as the better team with the better talent. Jerryd Bayless is likely out for Arizona. But even if he isn't, a sprained knee is a lot harder to come back from than a sore ankle or shoulder. Arizona looked lost without its PG and leading scorer against Oregon and now going on the road without one of its biggest weapons is going to be trouble. ASU blitzed Xavier at home earlier this year and tonight I think they are going to dominate their in-state rival in front of a raucous home crowd. The home team is 6-1 ATS in this series, ASU is 9-2 ATS at home and 6-1-1 ATS in conference play, and Arizona is 1-4-1 ATS in its last six and 2-6 ATS in conference games

NERVOUS??? I made my units 1500 risk for each series. Example game one is $1500 to win 898 and $3000 to win 1796 and $4500 to win $2694for the 3rd game of the series. I have faith however considering that Indiana has lost the last two games by avg of 23 points and play Phoenix tonight is a little scary!!

drew gordon?

Drew Gordon, his big games have been lousy lately:

Today's Games...

1. 300,000♦ New Orleans
2. 50,000♦ George Mason
3. 50,000♦ Mavericks

1. New Orleans- We find some real value in this contest, because New Orleans is being seriously underestimated coming off consecutive losses, while Denver has won 4 straight ATS and has apparently won the undeserved love of oddsmakers. I'm calling this game my Massacre of the Month, because I see the Privateers routing this Pioneers squad tonight at home and here's why...
First and foremost, Denver has been absolute garbage on the road this season, going 0-7 SU & 3-3 ATS. But its not just that their winless away, but its their overall poor effort when they travel, averaging just 48 ppg on 40% shooting, while surrendering 63 ppg on a laughable 51% shooting... That disparity is absolutely disgusting.
Second, just how do you expect a sputtering Pioneers offense to keep pace with a Privateers attack that's dropping 80 ppg on 50% shooting (47% from 3-point) over their last 5 games?! New Orleans is led by NBA-bound G Bo McCalebb, who's 21.8 ppg paces their offense, and will have a field day with this Pioneers backcourt. Privateers also have some solid frontcourt players in F Dykes and 6'10 bigbody Ben Elias to match up against Denver's frontcourt, which features their only real threats in Kummer and Tanner. As a side note, the fact that 6'8 C Tanner is their leading assit guy (38) should tell you something about this Denver offense!
Finally, let's look at the trends, as Denver is just 3-13 ATS in their last 16 meetings with New Orleans. Not only that, but the Pioneers are also just 2-7 ATS over their last 9 road games. Their last loss on the road was in a non-lined contest against Middle Tennessee State, where they managed only 50 points and shot 38% from the field against a terrible Blue Raiders defense (allowing 73 ppg on 47% shooting on the season). If they couldn't capitalize in that game, they sure as hell ain't gonna get it done against a solid Privateers squad tonight. New Orleans rolls in this match up!
Take New Orleans BIG over Denver as your top-rated play of the day.

2. George Mason- Several glaring mismatches in this contest, but none bigger than senior F Will Thomas against this Delaware frontcourt. Sure, the Blue Hens' Herb Courtney is a good player, but he's been known to disappear at times (5 points at Maryland, 7 points at William & Mary), and will have his hands full with very active Thomas in this one (9.8 rebounds per game).
Next, while both teams rely on a bevy of guards after their one solid post player, its the Patriots who possess the superior talent with guards Vaughan, Campbell, and Smith all averaging in double-figures. The Blue Hens quartet of guards is decent, but looking over their stats, its becomes clear they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if you asked them to. In fact, Delaware is averaging just 62 ppg on 40% shooting this season, thanks in large part to poor backcourt shooting.
For all the trouble the Blue Hens are having on offense, look for their woes to continue against a rock-solid Patriots defense. While its true George Mason's numbers on the road this year aren't great, I expect they'll be looking to rebound after a poor effort at Georgia State in their last road game. They caught a lot of flak in that game for a real poor defensive effort (allowed Georgia State to shoot 55%) and I expect a senior-laden group like the Patriots to respond.
Finally, the disparity in talent was apparent between these two teams last season, when George Mason cruised to victory in both meetings, including a 20-point shellacking the last time they played in Delaware. Most likely a closer game this time around, but not nearly close enough to consider anyone but George Mason in this spot.
Take George Mason comfortably over Delaware in this CAA match up.

3. Mavericks- So the Pistons lose to the Celtics 92-85 at home, snapping their 11-game win streak, and now everyone expects them to get right back to their winning ways tonight at Dallas? Hold on a sec', but last time I checked, the Mavs were playing some damn good basketball themselves, beating Phoenix, Orlando, and Golden State recently in Dallas to name a few!
While Detroit's defense gets all the publicity, the Mavs D has been just as good over their last 5 games, with both teams allowing about 87 ppg on 41% shooting over that span. Key here is the Pistons defense tends to let up a little on the road, with opponents shooting 44.5% on the season... Not exactly lockdown numbers. With Dallas hitting its stride behind Nowitzki, Howard, and one of the deepest rosters in the NBA , stopping their offense isn't going to be as easy as some people think.
Match up-wise, the Pistons clearly have trouble stopping Nowitzki, who's obviously not your prototypical 7-footer. His ability to spread the Detroit defense is key to the Mavs success, because once they open up, slashers like Howard and Harris can goto work penetrating. Dallas' depth also come into play, as they Pistons subs are a better unit this season, but still not on the level of the Mavericks.
Finally, one has to wonder how focused the Pistons will be with a game at San Antonio looming the very next day. Its hard to overlook a team as good as Dallas, but if they're not 100% focused, Dallas will take advantage. Mavs have been damn good at home, going 16-3 SU (9-9-1 ATS), and while everyone jumps all over the Pistons in this "supposed" bounce back game, I'll stick with a one of the best teams in the West playing at home.
Take the Mavericks over the Pistons in this marquee NBA match up.

Three very fine fades!

INDAIN COWBOY

ONLY ONE PLAY TODAY

Delaware +6.5 (POD)

Winning 8 of 11 days, let's keep it rolling. I could very easily go with more than 1 play today, but why? Going 1-0 and gaining 3 units is the same thing - in fact, going 2-1 and gaining +2.73 units - hence, where the money management comes in. We have grown somewhere around 25 units of late, so there is no reason to go with 3 plays and, very easily lose -9.9 units. Frankly, I think the lines are a bit tight right now, so just 1 play. I like Delaware for quite a bit reasons, but mainly because there is no reason that George Mason should be favored by this much on the road as they have not proven much on the road. Delaware is a solid home team while George Mason is frankly a relatively weak road team. Mason could easily turn that around today, but I think they will find it tough. Delaware is head by a sound coaching staff. Sure, this team is 6-7, but what you might not realize is that this team has won 4 of its last 5 ballgames, why is that important? Think about it - 67% of this team's season wins comes out of the last 2 ballgames. Delaware has gone on the road to win back to back road ballgames, against William and Mary and Drexel - both teams in the top 225. Why is that significant? Well, typically teams in the top 125 do things of that caliber. This team is playing better and meshing and should be very competitive today. George Mason recently played Georgia State and lost by a bucket to a team that is ranked in the top 225 and Delaware is significantly better at top 175. Also, Delaware has revenge from last year's loss as well. George Mason is 0-6 ATS as favorites of this margin and Delaware 4-1 ATS against teams that have won 60% of their ballgames and the big D is in a good spot at home here in my opinion.

Strike Point Sports Picks For College Basketball

Wednesday's College Basketball Plays

2-Unit Play. #537 Take James Madison +1 over William Mary (7 pm)

The Dukes have been a successful road team, posting a 7-2 ATS mark in their last nine away from home. They slipped up against Hofstra this past weekened, but look for them to respond against sub .500 William Mary. James Madison opened up conference play with a win over VCU last week, and they will get back on track with another in the win column against the Tribe.

5-Unit Play. #541 Take Old Dominion -150 over Towson (7 pm)

Old Dominion has dominated in recent meetings against the Tigers, winning the last nine match-ups with Towson. Seven of those nine victories have come by doubel digits, and this is another one that could go easily to the Monarchs. The road team is 8-3 ATS in the last eleven meetings, and here we'll take the better and proven team to take this one outright.

2-Unit Play. #547 Take Troy State -2 over Florida International (7 pm)

The Trojans have been impressive this year, scoring at a very high rate and going 7-3 ATS in their last ten. They have scored 80 or more in four of their last five, and their offense will be too much for an FIU team that has dropped six of its last seven and eight of ten. Troy is the play in this Sun Belt match-up.

5-Unit Play. #557 Take Syracuse -160 over Cincinnati (8 pm)

One big thing separating these two Big East schools is their ability to score. Syracuse is hitting for over 85 per game, while Cincinnati is around just 65. That's the difference here, as the Orange want to run and get the pace into a high scoing affair. Cincy won't be able to match them, and it's the 'Cuse that open their conference schedule 3-0 with the victory.

3-Unit Play. #563 Take Mississippi State -135 over LSU (8 pm)

The LSU Tigers are slowly sliding down the SEC rung into the cellar, and the Bulldogs will continue to keep them there. The team from Baton Rogue has struggled to score all season, while Mississippi State has been much more efficient, led by one of the conference's top players in Jamont Gordon. He and Charles Rhodes will carry the load and get some help from the bench. The Bulldogs keep it going and capture their fifth straight win, handing LSU its fourth consecutive defeat.

3-Unit Play. #567 Take Marshall -170 over Rice (8 pm)

The Owls are hapless, and the Thunder Herd come in off two big wins, taking care of San Diego and Winthrop in non-conference. Rice has scored 60 just once in its last seven games, while Marshall is averaging over 70 per outing. This one is one-sided, and the check mark goes to the favorite.

2-Unit Play. #575 Take Mississippi +9.5 over Tennessee (8 pm)

Hmmmm. I know the Vols are a strong team, but I anticipated this line nowhere what it actually came out as. Ole Miss is a very efficient shooting team, particularly with the three ball, and a balanced offense at that. Led by Dwayne Curtis, this one will be closer than the linesmakers assume it to be, and I just can't see an undefeated Rebels team not being competitive here.

ATLANTA (-2 ½) over Cleveland
09-Jan-08 04:05 PM Pacific Time
The Hawks apply to a 41-14-1 ATS subset of a 207-114-6 ATS home revenge situation tonight and my ratings favor Atlanta by 3 points, so the line is fair. Atlanta is well rested while Cleveland played last night and that should help the Hawks get the win tonight to break a 4 game losing streak. Cleveland is just 4-14 ATS the last two season the night after a victory while the Hawks are 6-1 ATS this season when facing an unrested team. I’ll take Atlanta in a 2-Star Best Bet at -3 points or less.
2-Stars at -3 or less.

COLLEGE
3 Star Selection
DELAWARE (+6 ½) over George Mason
09-Jan-08 04:00 PM Pacific Time
Delaware remains an underrated team and I’ll take the Blue Hens again tonight. Delaware added major conference transfers Marc Egerson (from Georgetown) and shot blocking C Jim Ledsome (from Nebraska) to the lineup when they became eligible in mid-December. The first game working those two into the lineup was a disaster (a 48-81 loss at lowly Central Connecticut St), but the Blue Hens have been played well against mid-major competition ever since, including upset road wins over William & Mary and Drexel in their last two games. the biggest difference for Delaware since adding Egerson and Ledsome has been their defense, as the Hens have allowed just 41.9% shooting in those 6 games (39.7% in their last 5 games) while they allowed 45.4% shooting in 7 games before the transfers joined the rotation. Delaware has played considerably better at home than they have on the road this season while George Mason has played worse on the road than they have at home. Without adjusting for the home-road dichotomy I still only favor George Mason by 1 point in this game and I’d actually only favor the Patriots by 3 points using all of Delaware’s games this season. Home teams off consecutive upset wins are also 142-109-3 ATS when facing a visitor coming off a win, so there is a slightly technical advantage in favor the Delaware to go along with the line value. I’ll take Delaware in a 3-Star Best Bet at +6 points or more and for 2-Stars from +5 ½ to +4 points.
3-Stars at +6 or more, 2-Stars down to +4 points.

2 Star Selection
Iowa (+14) over OHIO STATE
09-Jan-08 04:00 PM Pacific Time
Iowa became a much more competitive team when guard Tony Freeman joined the lineup in early December after missing the Hawkeyes first 9 games with a broken bone in this foot. Freeman has been inconsistent shooting the basketball but he makes the Hawkeyes a better team with his passing and defense. Iowa is 3-1 ATS (with one no line) in the 5 games in which Freeman has played, including competitive efforts as huge underdogs to Indiana (a 3 point loss as an 11 point dog) and Wisconsin (a 13 point loss as an 18 point dog). The oddsmaker is aware that Iowa is improved, but the line is still a bit high (I make it 12 points) and the Hawkeyes apply to a solid 180-88-5 ATS big underdog situation. That situation is a particularly good 76-24-2 ATS when applying to underdogs of 14 points or more, which is the number at which I’ll make the Hawkeyes a Best Bet. Also, Ohio State star G Jamar Butler has been weakened by the flu (he’s lost 10 pounds this week) and may not be 100%. I’ll take Iowa in a 2-Star Best Bet at +14 points or more and for 3-Stars at +15 or more.
2-Stars at +14 points or more, 3-Stars at +15 points or more.

2 Star Selection
TOWSON STATE (+3 ½) over Old Dominion
09-Jan-08 04:00 PM Pacific Time
Towson State has covered the pointsspread by 9 and 7 points in their last two games and that sudden improvement is no fluke, as the Tigers recently added the services of Georgetown transfer Josh Thornton, who became eligible on December 19th. Thornton played just 9 minutes in his debut but he’s increased his scoring total in every game so far, scoring 13 in the win over Northeastern and 20 points in the competitive loss to George Mason. Not only did Towson add Thornton, but they experienced some addition by subtraction when poor shooting F Rodney Spruill (38.4% FG) was suspended for academic reasons. Towson has been better in conference season (28-14 ATS since 2005/06) than they have in non-conference games (8-9 ATS), so improvement this time of the year is normal for veteran coach Pat Kennedy’s team. Old Dominion, meanwhile, applies to a negative 110- 221-5 ATS situation and I’ll take Towson State in a 2-Star Best Bet at +2 points or more and for 3-Stars at +4 points or more.
2-Stars at +2 or more, 3-Stars at +4 or more.

3 Star Selection
DUQUESNE (-10 ½) over Fordham
09-Jan-08 04:00 PM Pacific Time
Fordham was supposed to be an improved team this year with 5 returning senior starters returning, but the Rams are actually a little worse than they were last season thanks to a lack of defensive effort. Fordham has been a bit better offensively this season, which still isn’t good, but the Rams have allowed 46.6% shooting compared to just 43.3% shooting last season. After compensating for opponents faced the Rams are just 0.8 points per game better on offense but they’re 2.2 points worse on defense. The oddsmakers still haven’t adjusted for the fact that Fordham is not as good as expected, as their 2-8 ATS record would attest. After all, a team with 5 returning senior starters shouldn’t be expected to be much better as there isn’t as much improvement from a players junior to senior season as there is in other years. Duquesne, meanwhile, is still a bit under the radar after last year’s 10-19 campaign but the Dukes are a team destined for a post-season bid this year. Duquesne returned 4 starters and added 2 quality transfers to last year’s team and the Dukes are beating up on all except the good teams that they’ve faced. Duquesne’s two transfers, Kojo Mensah and Shawn James, are the stars of the team with Mensah leading the team in scoring and assists and James being the team’s second leading scorer, top rebounder and one of the best shot blockers in the nation (4.4 blocks per game). Duquesne has a reputation for being a run and gun team that races up and down the floor, but the Dukes are good on the defensive side of the floor (38.7% shooting allowed), so that reputation is undeserved. The fast pace actually helps us, as the number of extra possessions each game makes it easier for Duquesne to win by big margins against inferior teams than a team playing at a normal pace. Duquesne is not quite ready to beat good teams yet, as they’ve lost all 3 games against NCAA Tournament caliber teams (at Drake by 4 points , home to Pitt by 5 points, and at West Virginia by 24 points), but the Dukes have won each of their other 10 games by 11 points or more and I expect another double-digit win for Duquesne tonight. My ratings favor the Dukes by 17 points and I’d favor Duquesne by 15 points even if I assume Fordham will start to play at last season’s level defensively. In addition to the line value, Fordham has a history of playing poorly away from home against equal or better teams, as the Rams are just 14-33-2 ATS under coach Dereck Whittenburg as an underdog of more than 2 points away from home, including 0-3 ATS already this season. I’ll take Duquesne in a 3-Star Best Bet at - 11 points or less and for 2-Stars at -11 ½ or -12 points.
3-Stars at -11 or less, 2-Stars at -11 1/2 or -12 points.

3 Star Selection
DRAKE (9 ½) over Indiana State
09-Jan-08 05:00 PM Pacific Time
Indiana State has started conference play with 3 consecutive upset wins, but the Sycamores are due for a letdown and those upset wins will have 12-1 Drake on notice. Drake is one of the most improved teams in the nation and the Bulldogs’ only loss was at St. Mary’s in a game in which they covered the spread. Drake is 8-1 ATS overall this season and my ratings favor the Bulldogs by 14 ½ points – so Indiana State’s 3 upset wins have supplied us with some line value going against them. Indiana State applies to a 42-107-4 ATS road letdown situation and I’ll take Drake in a 3-Star Best Bet at -10 points or less and for 2-Stars at -10 ½ or -11 points.
3-Stars at -10 or less, 2-Stars at -10 1/2 or -11 points.

3 Star Selection
ARIZONA STATE (-2) over Arizona
09-Jan-08 06:30 PM Pacific Time
Arizona is 1-2 straight up and 0-3 ATS without leading scorer and pointguard Jerryd Bayless and he’ll be out again tonight. The Wildcats’ loss to Oregon sets them up in a very negative 59-138-1 ATS situation tonight and I certainly don’t mind backing an up and coming Arizona State team that has been great on their home floor. It was just a matter of time before former NC State coach Herb Sendek assembled a good team and this year’s Sun Devils are much better than the 8-22 team that Sendek coached his first year in the desert. The Sun Devils beat a very good Xavier team here by 22 points and beat Oregon by 8 points last week. ASU is good on both ends of the floor, making 50.3% of their shots while holding their opponents to just 38.8% shooting. Arizona has a tendency to get lazy on defense in recent years (perhaps that’s why they’re now just 14- 27 ATS in Pac-10 play the last 3 seasons) and they’ve allowed 48% shooting in 3 games without Bayless, who was their best perimeter defender in addition to being a great offensive player. My ratings using games for the entire season would favor Arizona State by 2 points, so it makes no sense that the line is just 2 points with Bayless out. Arizona is 50-21 ATS as an underdog since 1990, but they’re just 8-7 ATS getting points the last 3 years and Lute Olson is no longer coaching the team while on a leave of absence. The Wildcats are also just 8-7 ATS getting 2 points or less, so that team trend doesn’t carry as much weight at such a low number and without Olson on the sidelines. I’ll take Arizona State in a 3- Star Best Bet at -2 or better and for 2-Stars from -2 ½ to -4 points.
3-Stars at -2 or less, 2-Stars from -2 1/2 to -4 points.

Charlotte Bobcats at Boston Celtics
Wednesday, January 9th, 7:35 PM ET

I'm laying the points with the red-hot Boston Celtics on Wednesday night. Boston continues to roll, but may be without Ray Allen until the weekend. However, the team is deep and obviously experienced and take on a Bobcat squad that's 0-7 ATS when playing in revenge off a loss so far this season. Boston beat Charlotte in November and will have little trouble slamming the Bobcats on Wednesday. Look for the Celtics to stay focused with a 20 point win.

Good luck - Scott Spreitzer

4 Unit Play. #531 Take St. Bonaventure +27 ½ over Xavier (7:00 pm) Way too many points to be laying considering this is a conference game and the Bonnies see the Musketeers on a regular basis. This is will a blowout, but only by 20 points and thus it will be a point spread victory with the underdog.

4 Unit Play. #546 Take Clemson -14 ½ over Charlotte (7:30 pm ACC Select) There is a huge talent discrepancy in this match-up between schools from bordering states. The 49ers have yet to win a true road game this year and the Tigers are mad after blowing the game against UNC on Sunday night. They will take out their frustrations on Charlotte and win this game by 20+ points. Charlotte plays very little defense and that does not bode well when playing Clemson, who is averaging over 82 points per game. Charlotte was getting blown out by Maryland before making a late charge to get back into the game, but Clemson ain’t Maryland and there will be no late charge on Wednesday, as the Tigers get it done @ Littlejohn.

5 Unit Play. #552 Take Massachusetts -4 over St. Josephs (7:30 pm) Amherst, MA is the site for this A-10 tilt between the Redhawks and the Minute Men. UMASS continues to get it done under Coach Travis Ford, playing hard noise defense and can light up the scoreboard as well. The Redhawks can not score enough points to keep up with UMASS and thus will eventually bow down in this road affair. The Minutemen gave Vanderbilt all that they could handle over the weekend and will come ready to play looking to get back on the winning track at the Mullins Center. They are 6-0 in Amherst and win No. 7 will come this evening by double digits.

4 Unit Play. #561 Take Indiana State +9 ½ over Drake (8:00 pm Mediacom) A key game in the MVC takes place tonight in Des Moines, as two 3-0 conference records are put on the line. This will be an intense match-up, as both teams play strong defense and expect the score to only be in the sixties. The Sycamores have played a brutal non-conference schedule to prepare them for conference play and Drake mainly beat up on Iowa teams and thus will not be able to blow ISU out this evening.

Play Orlando!
It’s been a frustrating week for Orlando, with a pair of last second losses to the Nets and Rockets. They’ve had a strong season under new Coach Stan Van Gundy, with an incredible 15-5 SU, 15-3 ATS record on the road! They take on a stumbling Clippers team that has only two wins against plus-.500 teams this season -- the Warriors and Nuggets -- and have lost eight of their last nine games. Tim Thomas is battling a sore knee, Elton Brand is out, while Sam Cassell continues to battle injuries. They average just 90 ppg at home, where they are a miserable 5-11 SU, 6-10 ATS. Play the Magic!
