I haven't called the basketball comp line this year. I called it a bunch last year, it seemed like he favored only a handful of the services. As you have stated before, when you have so many cappers you usually can find one who is hot.

Do you have Duh Manager's comp line number? And, what is Steele's baskets comp line?

Hi Lyle-here you go:
Phil's basketball comp. number is 732-4636338. Duh Manager's number is 405-6993208.
Be forewarned-Duh Manager does NOT give a freebie every day or even anything close to that. You might get two or three over a day or two and then none for 4 or 5 days;he is good though as you can see by the record.
ps As much as I chide Phil's basketbal comp line, I do play some of these comps if they seem good;I don't fade them, because they aren't terrible, and there are some nice little runs along the way if you can catch them.

ps I post free comps every day in service section if you are not aware-some like Computer Boys, Winner Line, and OTM are decent.

Comp. yesterday result??? The pick was Bradley, which won by 7;line opened at 6 1/2 and went to 7 1/2;Phil calls it a win or a tie, but of course does not mention it could of lost.
Since I always use closing line at Scoresandodds, to me it counts as a loss.
Record is now 32-30-1 for the season.
The Play today is a 3* from Triple Crown on UCLA.

Line has been down all day. Perhaps Phil didn't pay the bill. Oops-I forgot it is no longer an 800 number, as Phil desperately tries to save costs because of sharply falling revenues because of his incredibly horrible season in football and sunsequent loss of subscribers.
Pick wins yesterday bring record to 33-30-1 on season.

He claims yesterday play won with Minnesota;for me it is a no play as line was not up, and I didn't hear the play; he states that in the future to call the old 877 number when present one is out of service.
Record remains at 33-30-1 on season.
The play today (after 5-7 minutes of listening to Phil drone on) is a 4* from Triple Crown on Phoenix in the NBA.

The most significant thing is that he is back to the 800 comp. number stating that the regular line couldn't handle the number of calls. lol
After that there is just another long speech extolling himself and his services, and that they will be starting a new "state-of-the art" 800 number;this is just one more desperate attempt to get back customers fos his late phone service, which is losing customers left and right because of his Grade F season in football.
Laughably again he calls the Basketball Comp. Line the best in the country (with a paltry at best break even 2 games above 500).
I wonder sometimes whether Phil is deliberately trying to scam folks with his records and statements or whether he is so delusional that he actually believes that what he offers in the way of picks and services is really the best;in some ways the second scenario is more disturbing.

Comp. loses-33-31-1 on season. Phil changed the comp. line number again. Could he be hiding/running from his pursuers?
The play today is the same as on the regular comp. line a 4* from Young Gun on UNDER Golden State,
Phil will more than likely try to take credit on BOTH lines if it wins but as only ONE loss if it loses.

Comp. loses and goes flying over with about 10 minutes to go in the game.
Trust me-no matter how hard Phil tries to spin this line, my carefully documented reords show this is a 500 line at best, and unless you get lucky for a few days, these picks will NOT make you a profit in the long haul if you play them every day.

I decided to repost here what I posted in the Northcoast Basketball Service Comp. Line thread, as I think it is very important, because it says a lot about Phil Steele and Northcoast.

Someone tell me if/where my logic is wrong.
Phil states the basketball comp. line has gone 25-14-1 the last 40 days on this line not counting the loss today.
Now this takes us back to Nov. 22 where record stood at 9-12. the low point of the season and from where Phil decided to count, as he won a few consecutive games after that.
Now if at that point we add on at this point his alleged 25-14-1, that would make him 34-26-1.
I have him at 33-31-1;this reminds me of Watergate-where are in this case the missing losses?
Again, if I am wrong in my analysis, please tell me where and/or how.
If I am right, it brings into the question all of Phil's stats in football where he tells us this club or that club is 60 or 70% over say the last 9 years;I think Phil knows he has so many services that no one is going to take the trouble to see if he is really telling the truth or not, or whether he himself has actually kept records.
Just remember Phil is very slick, decptive and a liar, and I think that what I uncovered here is just one more indication of the way in which Phil operates.

I have one question; Phil stated today that it costs $40000 a month to maintain an 800 number;can someone verify if this is true?-that seems like an awful lot, and it would not surprise if me if that was just one more spin on hi part or actually a lie in this case.

Please read #94 if you haven't done so already.
There is no mention of terrible loss on comp. line yesterday.
The record for the season is 33-32-1 no matter what the egregious lies/spins of Phil Steele would want you to believe.
Because of what I uncovered in post #94 only and based on my own record keeping and perceptions, I open accuse Mr. Steele of lying about wll of those records he throws out every day about his own personal records in football for the last 5-10 years, most of which show him hitting at 65% in all of his various services.
And yes, the record he threw out about the Basketball Comp. Line being 68 units over 500 for last season is also TOTAL BULLSHIT AND A LIE!!!! If it was even 500, I would be surprised.

He says that comp.line, which has just switched from the 732 number is 8-1 the last 9.
Hmm-I just went over the last 9 picks including yesterday's win and habe the record as 4-5;am I missing something????
The fact is that Phil is probably assuming that people who are calling the full service line for the first time and didn't call the 732 number or the other 877 number don't know his REAL record and will believe anything.
This is just another example of the FLAGRANT LIES told by Phil, and it a good thing that because of forums like this and open discussion Phil is finally being exposed to the liar he is.
If you haven't done so yet, go back and read post #94;today's post is a continuation of this.
And most importantly, don't believe all of those 65-70% winning percentaages Phil tells you about for his OWN football services over the last 9years;they are all LIES;Phil realizes no one will check those records out-end of story!

Personally I think it is within the realm of possibility that the day the 732 number went down was no accident, and that Phil used that excuse to start a tell people to call another numner so that he could start off "fresh" and start a new set of made up records/lies like the one I talked about in the last post where Phil openly lies about the comp. records of the cappers on the Community Line.

Interestingly, Phil no longer is claiming the 8-1(now 8-2) we heard yesterday. I believe either Phil or someone else read this forum yesterday with the HUGE 8-1 LIE, and that is reason why record was changed to 26-16-1 for the last 43 picks, which is still a LIE but not as easily discernible as the obvious one he told yesterday.
The pick is a 3* from Triple Crown on the LA CLIPPERS.

I forgot to mention in last post that record is now 1-5 of late 34-34-1 for season.
Lying Phil actually hadthe gall yesterday to see he has hit 62% over last 43 plays;another lie!
Actually Phil did not mention the loss yesterday;it was on the regular tape he said it won.
Also, the comp. play on this tape is a 4* form Great Lakes on Golden State;the Virginia was on the regular comp. line, and it was different today from one posted here.
