Here is what I find amusing and shows his lack of good business sense:
Yesterday afternoon I checked his comp. line and no comp. with no actual time stated as to when there would be one.
Well, I just called today,and it turns out that what is on now is a tape from last night, stating it is Sat. night and wit a comp(which won).
Now really-does the average guy call on Saturday night to see if there is going to be comp or not? A lot of guys have wives and/or girlfriends and certainly don't want to be calling a comp.line at some undetermined and spur of the moment time on a Saturday night. And please don't say there could have been "late breaking information" which necessitated the late release, which in this case was the OVER in the Dodgers game.
Perhaps, if Duh Manager took a course in good business skills, psychology or just used some good common sense, he might realize 1) it is pretty dumb to run a comp. line and give out 1-2 picks a week and 2) if he does decide to give out a pick, then for god's sake, give it out early in the day and not during the evening.

He is not exactly Einstein. I think in all fairness though, it is more his gruff, hillbilly delivery of speaking than anything else which make his well lets say sound different to listen to say than someone like Phil Steele whose smooth manner of speaking, which while boring in content at times, is flawless in the way in which it is enunciated.

Needless to day. no comp. today;he is still reveling in the glory of last night's comp. which probably just a few folks got to play, considering it was given out on a Sat. night when folks aren't usually thinking of calling a comp. line.

Duh Manager has an "explanation" today as to why he doesn't give out comps every day:
He stated that some people have complained(besides me of course) that he doesn't give out comps. often enough.
His answer is that that he treats these comps. like something special, and he doesn't want to just throw out anything.
Then he alluded to his great record, citing streaks in the past of 18 and 13 winners on this comp. line.
The best line though is that when he said that if he gave out too many comps. that won, then "he wouldn't be able to get nobody to sign up."(what a great use of double negatives;his statement actually says with the double negatives factored in, is that he WOULD be able to get folks to sign up.)
Nothing was said about giving comps. out on a SATURDAY night 5 minutes before the game begins.
Just another day in da life of Duhhhhhh Manager.
ps Its funny that other services give out comps every day(Northcoast), and do ok and don't use his screwed up logic in NOT giving out comps every day;perhaps there is some OTHER reason why folks choose not to sign up with him-could it be that some folks don't like his arrogance and teasing every day on the comp. line at the END of the tape about coming back a day or two later with one of his "precious" comps?

If Duhh manager wants to be fair, he should refer tol his phone number NOT a comp. line but an information line which tells you how well he has been doing the last 6 months with an outside chance of a comp especially if you call every day and for sure a "model" of how NOT to speak the English language.

Needless to say, no comp.today.
From the sound of his voice and judging by his criminal record in the past,if I had to think what he might choose to do should he get out of handicapping, it would be a situation where say someone owes his local book $20000k and didn't have the money to pay.
I can see Duh Manager(representing the local) walking up to the guys's house, knocking on the door, having a chat and then in his "generosity" offering the guy an "easy" payment play with "only"300% interest included.

Duh Manager continues to show his utter stupidity by posting his comps. a few minutes before the games start rather than early in the day when the other services do.
I called yesterday at 1:00 eastern time and there was no comp. posted.
I just called today to hear he had Sand Diego(a loser), meaning he posted the comp. too late in any event for people to receive the play.
Doesn't the dork realize that most folks want the plays early and have better things to do than sit around and hope he puts out a comp. play.
Not only should Duh Manager take a course in English grammar;he should also take one regarding good business practices.

Duh Manager is again showing his stupidity and lack of good business sense by not even updating his "comp"line since last Thursday.
This guy may be ok as a capper but he sure has no idea as to how to run a business.

He is no dummy and is a decent guy but certainly unorganized.More than once I would call back to get his final update only to realize that he forgot to post it.Also the lines he gives are often unavailable on any offshore book.Many times he would release a play too late to get it in on time.All these little things add up to a huge annoyance.
He is a very streaky handicapper.When he is cold your bankroll can disappear quickly.Hard to have confidence in his big plays as he is erratic at best.Good or bad he gives out a lot of plays.
Some how his stated win unit record doesn't always match up with my mine.
He really tries to make $$ for his clients though.

i would love to track his plays if you can post them. someone was posting them at another forum 6 months ago but stopped. he was losing big!
