Northcoast - Sports handicapping Forum

I know that I have alluded to this in the NorthCoast Comp.Line thread a number of times, but I want more people to see it.
My contention is that Phil Steele of NorthCoast is a deceptive liar.
He tells us all of the time how his service ALWAYS tells us about the losers as well as the winners.
That is simply not true, as he NEVER acknowledges a loss on his comp. line by any of cappers on HIS Northcoast Community Line, and only talks about the winning days and time frames which show a nice percentage of comp. wins.
Granted he doesn't outright lie about his record like the scamdicappers, but as we all know there is such a thing as lies by omission;this is what Phil excels at and should change immediately in order to garner some respect and credibility.
Its like someone telling his mom he got an A in one subject but not admitting that the other grades were all C's and D's.
On the other hand, that is how Phil has built his reputation over the years-by spinning his record, telling only half and selective truths and hoping(and also succeeding) there are enough new suckers out there to believe what he says about his great record is the ENTIRE truth(which it is not).

he is the same as 99% of the services out there. he actually has more "clubs" than wayne root! that's how he can always spin his comp line to seem like he is winning most of the time. anyone not viewing sites like this has NO idea what he is doing.

Sidenote-I expect to receive very soon my annual promo from Royal Sportsbook offering all kinds of free service,5*'s GOY'S, etc. from Northcoast if I send money to them(Royal Sportsbook). Its interesting that an allegedly honorable man like Phil would align himself in this manner;could there possibly be something in it for him? Don't think too hard. Of course, NEVER forget that Phil always tells the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me- Stu Feiner, Johnny Demarco, Jack Price.

I received nothing this year in the mail from Royal or Millenium unlike the other two years.
Perhaps Phil Steele is wising up to the fact that folks are on to the scheming and deceptive manner in which he operates his business.
I always wondered how Phil was compensated by the sportsbooks. Was it a strict percentage of the money sent down by anyone Phil referred? Was it perhaps based on overall losses on Phil's plays or just how the particular bettor did over a specified period of time or maybe how much the bettor just bet.
On the other hand, we all know that Phil is "unlike" those other services out there and would of course "never" resort to tactics which would put him in a bad light;how could it be otherwise from a service which "always" tells you about the losers as well as the winners (except of course on the comp. phone-see Nothcoast Comp. Line thread ,where I have shown over time the words "losing comps and overall losing record" simply do not exist in Phil's new wave vocabularly).

In my opinion, Phil Steele is the lesser of 2 evils when it comes to sports services. Of course he's not going to dwell on the losers, thats just bad marketing. If you expect any service to do this, thats just ignorant, as they are all in it for 1 thing: To make $$$!

Think about it...if you created the most delicious dessert in the world, yet it also had the most calories & fat, how would you sell it? Would you be focusing on the delightful taste of your product, or making sure everyone who ate it realized they were digging an early grave for themselves? Of course the former, as thats what prospective buyers want to hear!

No one wants to hear about the losers, everyone wants to believe if they use this service or that service they will be on their way to untold of riches! Which is why most people inevitably lose with a service...of course they are going to jump on the bandwagon of a service who HAS BEEN winning...but NO service continues to win forever...once you hear about the 20-2 streak theyve been on, its TOO LATE! Youve missed the boat. Period.

Getting back to Phil & his ways, like you said, at least he doesnt outright lie about his record, & he does go on some pretty solid streaks. Thats more than 95% of other services out there!

& Im sure Phil doesnt give 2 shits about what goes on in internet forums, as no one here pays him for his plays anyway! Im sure forums like ours have cost him huge amounts of $$ in the past few years!

All I know is that his 5* plays are some of the most sought after....watch how many services will call those plays THEIR Games of the month...year...MILLENIUM on any given saturday!

Im not saying that Phil & his Northcoast should be bought, followed, even respected...just that when it comes to sports services, there are far bigger fish to fry! Just look in the sports section on a monday...."GUARANTEED LOCK ON TONIGHTS GAME!" "ABSOLUTELY FREE!!" More like absolute bullshit! Believe me...I've been there, done that....had to change my #...TWICE (once was due to a psycho b/f) but thats neither here nor there.

what I am trying to point out both here and in the Northcoast Comp. Line which I update daily is that Phil, who claims to be honest, is NOT.
Lies by omission are just as serious as lies by commission, and Phbil for my money doesn not want to talk about losers on his comp. line and/or choose just to talk about his short term record or any record which puts him in a good light rather than the entire picture.
In this country thank god we have publications such as Consumers Reports which makes companies accountable and tells the real truth about their products.
I choose to do the same with sport services, ESPECIALLY the slick ones like NorthCoast, which many can't see through because of its devious marketing techniques.
Just about anyone can see through a service which claims an 80% winning percentage lifetime;one has to dig a little more to separate Phil Steele's claims from reality;if he wants to live by the sword, he can die by it also.
Hope that helps to understand where I am coming from.
