Your Opinion of Any Capper You Want to Talk About - Sports handicapping Forum

I think it would be nice to have one thread which allows anyone to say anything at all about any specific capper whether it is good or bad.
This can be based on a personal experience, something you have noticed when the capper's picks are posted or just a general impression or general feelings based on anything.
We already have specific threads such the one which deal with Sebastian and how he runs his service.
There are also a number of tracking threads which concentrate mostly on the records of soem cappers.
I think tohugh as stated above, we need some subjective stuff also based on your perceptions such as we have with Sebastian and perhaps with an example to make whatever point you are trying to make.
ps If I personally make any comments, I promise I won't talk about Sebastian or Phil Steele/Northcoast here as I think I have said enough already in their respective threads-you folks though can feel free to talk about them here if you like.
Also, if you agree or disagree with what someone says, you can state it here, but if you disagree, do it in a polite way and state why you disagree-this thread is not meant to be confrontational amongst us.

probably the worst capper I have dealt with is a a guy named Phil Mason, his picks were terrible and his ethics even worse. I have found the guys at sports advisors are pretty consistent, and I like the fact it is all online with no harassing phone calls.

Not much interest here so far.
My comment is more of a general one than anything else.
I don't much care for cappers like Ben Burns who almost always find reasons to go AGAINST winning or losing streaks but who hardly ever goes WITH streaks.
To me it seems that these guys want to try to emerge as a hero by showing they can pick the game that the streak will end.
Gambling 101 teaches the trend is your friend, and that over time, you will be better served by going with the streak at end rather than against it.

I have found on sports advisors that A.Redd in all sports since Thanksgiving day 15 dime and higher, he is 63-46 for 57.8%. His 5 & 10 dime plays really suck. 15-33. Hope this helps.

Second last line should read streak over time, etc.

This should be a good thread. Good idea to put it up.

Since you didn't comment about Brent Crowe's record over many years that I posted after you said he was not a good capper, I was curious what you thought after learning the facts.

It is obvious that in this instance I shouldn't have made a snap judgment simply based on my perception of what I saw posted;obviously the sample size was not big enough in this particular case.
I am not "quite" perfect and do make errors sometimes. lol

Very good answer. There is nothing wrong in stating your opinion. The thing that disappointed me was you "called out anybody to prove otherwise" your opinion. When that happened, you were no where to be found. I was surprised you didn't post anything. You rarely remain silent.

I don't know if others share my opinion but I find Dr. Bob irritating because of the conditions he puts on all picks-if this line, then that rating, if that line, then this rating,etc.
He is too wishy-washy for me and imo would make a great politician because of all the straddling the fence he does.

In my opinion RAS is an honest and winning service who is kicking serious ass on their totals! Even if you play them after the line moves you're still 20 games over .500. Best of luck to all.
