I thought I would post this here as well as in Northcoast section:
A Book Which Rates the Sports Services in Football ps I just received today a book put out by The Winning Connection which rates all of the big name sports services;I agree with what I see in here for the most part. NorthCoast got a grade C- for last year in football. 2006 projections say and I am quoting "Exact same recommendation as last year:"For the last few years they have not been consistently good enough to play, or consistently bad enough to go against. Stay away until one of those two things start to happen." Winning Connection gave themselves a Grade C rating for last year but of course a "Go With" rating for this year stating they will bounce back. One of my other "favorite"cappers, Wayne Root, got a Grade D for last year and to proceed with caution for this year. Also, big mouthed NSA received an F for 2005 and a projection to Stay Away for this year. I hope some of you guys receive this book, as ratings seem to be quite fair and objective. |

ps it says on the cover normal price is $15. I guess I must be one of their "prized" potential customers to receive it for nothing. ![]() |

Personally I think both of them are a lot of hot air and are mediocre at best(they are not rated in the book). |

I agree. Hurley got a hell of a gaurantee on pre-season. He gotta win 6 top plays or you get season free. I wonder what catch is there. Trouble is when you buy a package , everytime you call their trying sell you a hot game.

the only guarantee is that if they loose you have to talk to a salesman to get the plays and he will try and sell you something else. a typical scammer ploy! |

I've seen a few of those mags over the course of 15 years and most are published (paid for to be published) by the top rated 'cappers in that publication. I used to be a believer in the Sports Monitor of Oklahoma, but have heard some shady stuff there, too. I think sites like this are the best way to keep track of the sports services. GLTY

I would have never hooked up with them if it had not been for Jay88 + the $300/$300 match...20x rollover Jay88 promptly left.. BetonStars almost as promptly failed ...a couple of months later I find out Royal has bailed them out...I got my $380 balance +15% bonus +10% freeplay... 5x rollover on some...3x rollover on the rest. They collared bailout accounts over $1500 to a "no win" policy...you can't win;meet the rollover reqs and get your money back....very, very weird anyhow I ran my bank to over $1000 and got a no-hassle $250 Neteller withdrawal within the last week. I'm grateful---even more than that;I'm lucky. Sometimes at gametime on weekends---it takes a long time to get your bet down...but I've experienced that at many books...other than that it is a great site... i can get 1/2 point diff in my favor many times...1/2 point against me many times from what I am seeing at other places SBR and TOW recently upgraded them to C- or C Seeing as how they paid me promptly for money I had given up and then I ended up winning---I obviously give them a "hug" rating |

I follow the sportsbook industry very carefully. I wouldn't deposit into Royal but there not as bad as some others. The owner over there is a real asshole and has stiffed players in the past. Royal is located in the same building as Bodog believe it or not but there is no affiliation. I guess this is a pretty good marketing technique to help clear up there name with the money they have from stiffing players. Sportsbooks email me everyday to advertise here. Unlike other forums I would not recommend sportsbooks that show any chance of failing for a quick buck.
