I question whether Young Gun's record on GOY's is really 14-1(now 14-2) as Phil claims.
It seems to me if my memory is good that they had a GOY play on the Red Sox over Tampa Bay in August which also lost;I remember the play because I played it(and lost). If someone keeps records of these plays, let me know if I am correct;there is the slight chance that the Red Sox GOY was that of another service, but I belIeve it was Young Gun's.If I am correct, that would mean Young Gun had hit 14 in a row GOY's prior to that.
Judging by the utter stupidty and non-sensica/illogicall play with Phoenix tonight, I have serious doubts that their record in these games is as good as Phil and/or the BLOWBOY faggot would have us believe.

If they didnt win straight up they covered... that erractic team as was called right here looked pretty consistent in its last 5. Here you have arguably the best team in the league in the Celtics coming off 2 straight losses including blowing a double digit lead in the last quarter several days ago to the 76ers at home(they might have been looking ahead to this game).
When you couple that with the fact that they lost to Phoenix earlier in Phoenix earlier this season meaning they were seeking revenge, to me win or lose this play made no sense(in all honesty I was going to bet the Celts but did not because allegedly Young Gun has an outstanding record in GOY's).
I would love to know YG's logic behind this GOY pick which as stated made no sense to me.
ps Young Gun should give everyone who bought the pick a week of free service!

As I indicated in another post in the main thread yesterday, I thought YG would give out Cleveland or Toronto as the GIY and longshot with the Celtics.
It never entered my mind that he or any other capper for that matter for reasons cited would bet AGAINST the Celtics at HOME as the GOY in an important game for them-talk about playing Russian Roulette with one chamber!

What qualifies as a game of the year in your mind? First off... im sure that is used for promotional tactics anyway. It seems sometimes u talk in circles to justify your position on a certain game. You did say Tex Am is way to erratic to make a game of the year play and they turned out to be consistent for both the conf and the ncaa tourney. While i could care less if any of these services win or lose because my money bet will not be dictated by a services play it seems that they can do no right in your eyes. Ive seen u say" Even if it wins it's a bad play" So im pretty sure none of the northcoast services will ever measure up to your standards no matter win or lose. gl though

You obviously didn't get what I said.
In both the Texas A&M game and the Phoenix game last night, I gave good reasons why neither game qualified as a GOY play-that is the key word-GOY and NOT a regular play.
Re:A&M-I said they were erratic yes, but I also showed they had a long history of doing poorly against Kansas, which was borne out in the game in question-that is why I couldn't understand why it was given out as a GOY.
ps based on my perception Kansas and the Celts. would have been more logical choices for GOY'S if oen was going to pick either one of those games as GOY'S.
