Default Northcoast Basketball Comp. Line

I am going to keep a separate thread for this;this is a continuation of the Northcoast Comp. Line which I started last April, and which was concerned only with basketball and baseball as football had not yet started.
Plays from the time I recorded them went 60-66-3.
Phil stated that these plays won 67.3 units last year;that is just a plain outright lie;even though I started tracking in April, believe me no way in hell that the 67.3 units is even close;I doubt overall for season picks showed any profit let aline 67.3 units.
Anyways, yesterday's first comp. won with Chicago, and Phil naturally talks about how easy that was(he didn't say on the other comp. line tell us how far off his OWN pick was on OVER in the UAB game).
Hopefully, I can update this as well as the other thread each day;if I forget, anyone can list the play.
Today's play is a 4* from Triple Crown on ATLANTA.
ps The number is 877-6619110.

Here we go again;
No mention of the loss on the comp. line yesterday, BUT he mentions again the comp. winner on Tuesday. Very interesting but not surprising.
Comps. now stand at 1-1.
The pick today is from Young Gun Sports and is a 2* on Dallas.

Amazing-he actually admitted comp. play lost yesterday;the record is now 1-2 or 33.33%;Phil likes to quote percentages(only when they are good) and so do I.
The play today is from Scott(No Caffeine) Sprite(ser), and is a 3* on the Chicago Bulls.

Comp. loses-now 2-4 or 33.3%. As stated before, this is a continuation of the thread I started originally last April, which was under .500 when football ended;yet Phil tells us that for last season, it won 67 units;that is total BS;I called number every day during last basketball season, and picks were lucky if they were 50%(my sample size from 4/06/9/06 was under 50% and which included baseball is pretty indicative of how picks did prior to when I started monitoring).
The pick today is from Billy Coal man and is a 4* on OVER Atlanta/Cleveland.
ps I am counting only the won/loss record;it is too much bother to keep track of how comps. are rated, which don't mean much anyways, as they are comp.plays. to begin with and from a number of different cappers anyways. I think the won/loss record alone is a pretty good indication of how the comps are doing.

Comp. wins- now 3-4.
Broken record Phil again extolls the virtues of the same cappers on the Community Line before getting to the pick, which today is a 3 1/2* from Billy Coal Man on UNDER Washington.

Comp. loses now 3-5 or 37.5% for the season.
Today's play is from the so-called dead or is it living "friends" of the deceased Mike Lee;it ought to win as those in the Hereafter should know things that we mortals do not.
Anyhow the play direct from the omniscient Mike Lee and somehow transmitted by telepathy to someone here on earth is a 3* on Cleveland.
Mike's paid play(not disclosed) comes with a guarantee of a 1 day free pass to Heaven to see what it is like up there.

Comp. wins 4-5.
The play today is from Triple Crown and is (hold on while Phil goes on and on to try to get me to buy one of the guys on the Community Line) a 3* on the Knicks.

Comp. wins now 5-5. Lets see him get to the +68 units he claims for last season;that is a whopper 1000 times the one served at Burger King.
The play is a 3* from Triple Crown on Minnesota in the NBA.

Comp. loses again 5-7;I wonder when the streak will start to bring record up to +68 units of last year;that is pure bullshit. If comps hit 500 for the season, I will be shocked.
The play today is a 4* from Willy/Billyboy Cover on New Jersey in the NBA.

Comp. loses AGAIN. Now 0-3 of late or 5-8 for the season or to use Phil's percentages 38.46%.
Of course, Phil just acknowledges comp. lost yesterday(surprising in itself) rather than alluding to the 0-3 or record for the season
The comp. play today is a 4* from Billy Coleman on Dallas.
ps Please someone tell me when the streak starts which will put this comp. line 68 games or units over 500 like last season. Yeah right! That is the whopper of all time. lol

I guess original post was erased with server change. Record is now 6-8 with yesterday's win.
The Comp. Play today is from Great Lakes and is a 3* on Orlando.

Comp. wins now 7-8. Phil mentions that the ghost friends of Mike Lee lost their big play but doesn't mention they lost their two other bigger plays also.
Not surprising, as yesterday he told us that the ghost friends of the (deceased) Mike Lee were 10-2;its hard to believe that the friends of a dead person would ever be wrong with such omniscient information from the Hereafter.
Today's comp. is a 4* from Scott (caffeine free)(Sprite)zer on Texas in college basketball tonight.

Comp. loses-no meniton of course.;I wonder if Phil will even get to 500 once this season let alone the +68 units as he alleges(lies) about for last season.
The play today is from Billyboy(Will) Cover and is 4* on Xavier.

Just in case I forget to update tomorrow, Billyboy Cover should be running for "cover" with that crappy pick on Xavier yesterday;record is now 7-10 for the season.
Its funny how after the first win of the season making record 1-0 how Phil was extolling how great the Basketball Comp. Line was last year finishing 68 game or units above 500 for the season, etc. As would be expected, Phil only tells us about the little winning streaks(like last year) but doesn't tell us like last year the overall record, and that that comp. line plays show a deficit overall. I would bet anything I had ,if it could be proven using an objective source, that this comp. line did not finish 68 games or units over 500 as Phil states.

Comp. win loss record is 8-10. Conveniently Phil only alludes to fact that Great Lakes is undefeated on comp. line. What do we expect from as "honest" a service as Northcoast?
Today's play is from the goblin "friends" of the (DECEASED)Mike Lee and is a
3* on Bradley.

Comp. wins, now 9-10 and almost 500-still a far cry from the 68 games or units over 500 that Phil claims to have gone last year.
The pick today is a 3* from Young Gun in NBA on Portland.

Comp. loses. Record is now 9-11. No mention of loss as usual by the service which "always tell you about the losers as well as the winners."
The play today is from Master Sports and is a 3* on the Miami Heat.

Comp. loses-now 9-12 for the season. Of course Phil doesn't mention the loss yesterday or for the last 3 days, but instead tells us he is bringing on Great Lakes, which is undefeated on the comp. line. Perhaps, Phil should use this guy every day rather than playing the LOSING game of Musical Chairs with these guys.
Oh yes-we do get another forced, unnatural laugh from Phil when he extols the virtues of one of the services.
The play as is stated from the Great Lakes on Washington in the NBA.

Comp. wins-now 10-12 for the season.
If we go further, Great Lakes is 5-0 with comps., meaning the other guys are 5-12 overall.
The comp. today is a 3* from Billy "The Coal Man" on Hofstra.

Comp. pushes yesterday.
Since Phil includes only carefully selected stats and time frames in recapping his records, lets give him a taste of his own medicine in reverse.
The comp. record is 5-12 on the season or 29.4%. Great Lakes has compiled a 5-0 on comp. phone, which would bring overall record up to 10-12.
By my way of thinking, it indicates that as a whole the comp. line sucks with the exception of Great Lakes.
ps-I almost forgot-the play today is a 3* from JB on DALLAS.
