the other thread was locked so i will comment here. i have always heard good things about RAS but after seeing his post about not getting good lines and not grading plays by units at NSM it makes me wonder. these are some of the same excuses as scamming services use. i admire any service that is tracked but not when they make excuses when the tracks don't go as they would like.

they don't suck, but they are not the winning service that a lot of people think they are. another example of hype starting on the Internet. it's amazing what happens when these "great" services are tracked independently. i never followed Dr Bob until this year and my track shows him losing in football. i will give RAS credit for being monitored, thats more than i can say for Dr Bob!

yeah, I looked at the national sports monitor for RAS records. Not impressive at all. Don't know why people say he's good, maybe shills?
He lost a rare 2 unit play yesterday on San Diego Univ. Claims he has something like a 70% record on 2 unit plays. Sounds like a b.s. guy to me. |

it makes me wonder just how much some forums have to do with some services. i have posted some negative things about different services at different forums (all from my tracks or monitoring services). if posters disagree i don't care (who knows who they are or might work for), but when mods defend the service with a record from the service's site or say not to post about the service, it makes me wonder about their motives. i know some services are sponsors here, this bothers me, but at least the site is up front about it. this even applies to "free" posters that mislead people that are protected at some forums (i will give bc credit for cleaning things up there, but it shouldn't have taken a year or two).
after a lot of people said i should have used lines when dr bob's plays were released (in my track), even dr bob admitted in a article about his service that he knows people can't get the line he posts because books change it within minutes of the release. next year i am looking forward to tracking his plays from their release, not having to go back months, and see how he does. |

I'm a mod and I will go on record to say RAS is average at best.
When I first found his forum I too thought his write-ups were solid and I bet his plays and he got buried. That was 2003 NCAA football,since then I;ve kept an eye on him and not impressed. He banned me from his forum along with upteen others,some I know personaly and what bothers me about him is his sneaky tactics and all for the love of money. I'm pleased to see his board is nothing of what it used to be. The methods of his fucking posted rules is all about not being able to find other forums. Case in point,recently someone posted another forum members user name so guys could google it and it was **** out. All that being said I would say his posted record is honest though he did come on here using the standard tout excuse about closing lines and so forth but I;ve never bought that line as closing lines work both ways. |
