(# 8) TEAKWOOD - Appears set to run a much improved effort returning from a layoff and dropping down for a tag for the first time. Cuts back to a sprint and draws a better post then what he had in his first 2 starts. Gets Coa aboard who scored on Saturday for this trainer in a NY bred stakes race at Belmont.
(# 10) Children's Annex - Cuts back to a better distance after a good 3rd first time for a tag on Sept 20. Has tactical speed to sit a good trip. Trainer Tom Bush comes off a banner weekend, winning 2 stakes on Sat at Belmont.
(# 3) Castlerman - Back on dirt and makes first start in a claimer, both facto! rs which should lead to an improved effort. Versatile. Can stalk or close from off the pace.
(# 7) Funny Phone - Makes debut for strong first out connections. Bred for speed. Gets lasix and Desormeaux.

(# 1) HICKORY STICK - Freshened up by top layoff trainer Perkins. Victimized by a rough last time out at Sar. Tough trips as well first 2 career starts against open company. Last two works at Monmouth were very strong.
( # 2) Go Fernando Go. - Vast improvement last time out making 1st start in a claimer and a huge trainer change to Volk. Nearly overcame a rough start in a race which went fast from start to finish.
( # 8) Midtown South - Switches back to dirt in sharp and improving form last 3 starts off a layoff. Has run well in all 3 starts on the Aqueduct main. Good tactical speed.
( # 10) Bazooka Bob - Returns with trainer change. Showed speed in debut against open company. Weaker spot today vs NY breds.

(# 6) Diamond Strike - Figures to be the favorite taking confident boost in class after a decisive win at today's distance. Very high % trainer and powerful trainer and rider combo.
(# 4) Berrytime - Takes smart drop in class after a series of good races against tougher. Bug boy off. Red hot rider Elliott aboard. Has that important recent race over the track.
