Default Nflx Handicapping Tip #4 – Rookie Coaches

NFLX HANDICAPPING TIP #4 – ROOKIE COACHES

Today’s NFLX Handicapping Tip is:

Play ON a rookie coach eager to get a win.

New coaches like to win in the preseason, although some “new” coaches aren’t new at all. Veteran head coaches that are simply changing cities do not figure to make winning an exhibition game a high priority. Other new coaches, however, are testing the waters for the first time and eager to get a victory, even an exhibition win.

Romeo Crennel got his first head coaching job last year with Cleveland. He did well and PRO INFO SPORTS was there to take advantage as we made his Browns a 4 STAR SELECTION as a 5’-point underdog when we wrote:

“Crennel is getting his first crack at being captain of the ship, and he is naturally eager to get all the wins he can to prove to himself, the team owner, and the rest of the league that they can win. He has done just that, winning outright as 3-point and 7-point dogs the past 2 weeks…a very motivated Browns bunch keeps this one close all the way to give themselves a spread win and a chance for the SU victory as well.”

Indeed, Cleveland had a chance late to secure the SU win but came up short. Still, they lost only by 3, 23-20, and beat the spread for an e-LERT WINNER. This year, there are a number of teams who will be led by coaches making their debuts on the sidelines as the head man. Find the coaches who are raring to go and get that first “W” and you’ll usually find yourself a winner as well.
