Hey everyone... This is Ironmike67. I'm hanging out in Charlotte's airport in N.C. waiting to fly to Hilton Head, S.C. I hear there is some pretty big waves down there and I would love to go surfing if this is true... If you've been there get back to me and let me know what you thought of the place... I mean I still have 4 more hours until my last flight, so I'll be here.... Do people bet on Surfing Competitions?

We used to go to Hilton Head for some of the holidays back in the 80s.

I always loved it there.

Surfing is very hit & miss. Some days its like glass (no surfing) and other days you can get 4-6 or even 5-7.

Wish I could tell you about night life, but I wasn't old enough to to that back then.

Other than water sports, golf & fishing, I don't remember too much else to do there, but that was 20 years ago. I'm sure it has changed alot.

Yeah well I discovered the nightlife in Hilton Head last night, totally accidental I swear... I'm going to rent a board today in hopes that one of these days the water won't look like glass! I think we are going shark fishing tonight... Have you ever done that down here or were you just fishing off a charter boat?
