The Braves are 17-15 out of the National League East Division under their long-tenured Manager Bobby Cox. The Padres under their Manager Bud Black trail the National League West with a 12-22 record. They are tied for scoring the fewest runs in the League, and have been outscored 20-8 over their last three events. The Padres give the nod to Reliever Wilfredo Ledezma here, in an attempt to start a Lefty versus the Braves. He has no decisions with an excellent 1.96 ERA in seven Relief appearances. Negative trends for the Padres include 2-6 versus Lefties, 5-11 versus winning teams, and 6-13 on the Road.
