Houston at San Francisco Houston travels to San Francisco to start a series with the Giants. Astros come into this game red hot off a series sweep of the Dodgers in LA. Giants take the last two against the Phillies so they have to feel decent about the game tonight......until they see who takes the mound. Zito is literally the most overpaid, worthless, pathetic, irrevocably horrid piece of crap I have witnessed on a MLB diamond in my lifetime. I'm 38 years old so that statement certainly doesn't cover all the eras of the game but it is sincerely hard for me to conceive any era past, present, or future that will possess a piece of work like this. Wasn't that $128 milllllion dollars the (ha ha) Giants agreed to compensate this guy with in exchange for his pitching services. Zito must feel like the guy that hit the Powerball lottery for a big prize with nothing more than a few bucks invested. SF will always be laughed at for this gaff. Oswalt hasn't done his finest work to start this season, but I feel pretty safe in knowing what kind of effort I will get out the guy....he is certainly decent. I believe his career numbers against the Giants, which are poor at 2-5 4.07 in 10 career starts, is the only facet of the capping that is keeping the current line surpressed. Both teams are similar in regards to records at home and away in the case of Houston. Astros have better lineup, in my opinion, and Oswalt has started catch fire with his pitching. Astros take care of business in this game. Houston Oswalt -144 (5Dimes) GOOD LUCK with your action.... T |
