BetIslands to Close with Player Funds

Old News, but worth posting to see if this affected any of the posters here ATS.
This book has over 1.5 million dollars of players funds.
Unfortunately this looks like it is about to end badly for players. This came to be because BI lost it's financial backer and the people left could not make it work.

I'm surprised they lasted this long. Two months ago I had a issue with Jon. Well for the first time in 8 yrs I had a GM tell me they are closing there affiliate program (marketing). This through up red flags I knew something bad was going to happen. Anyone that runs a new shop must advertise to make it. Cmon its not like he had an established brand like Bookmaker, Bodog or Sportsbook.com it was Betislands. Long story short I told him to keep his money I was owed and deleted and redirected there pages to Bookmaker. I hope everyone is able to get a bailout of some kind.

I can't believe SBR knew about this and allowed everyone to get burned so they can profit. I'm boycotting SBR and you should to.
