Chargers Pro Bowl linebacker Shawne Merriman will forgo knee surgery and play this season for the San Diego Chargers despite the fact he has two torn ligaments in his left knee.

He is crazy! SD should prove THEY care more about the players than the bottom line & get an old beat up vet from the 'good old days' to talk to him. I know Bolts would lose one of his contracted year but it is the right thing to do.
